Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) is seeking an experienced PL/SQL Developer to join its technology delivery team in Hyderabad. In this database engineering role, you will analyze business requirements to design, develop, and maintain complex database objects—including specialized procedures, packages, functions, and triggers. You will write highly optimized queries for high-volume transactional platforms, analyze execution plans, and implement secure exception handling. This position offers a great opportunity to scale core database backend structures while collaborating across multi-functional product development and QA teams.

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Engineering (B.E. / B.Tech) or an equivalent technical degree.
• 4 to 8 years of solid hands-on experience in database engineering with strong Oracle or MySQL PL/SQL development backgrounds.
• Deep expertise writing and tuning complex queries, with comprehensive knowledge of indexes, joins, views, filtering logic, and evaluating execution plans.
• Proven ability to build reusable data structures, manage transactions, write secure database routines, and perform string and data type conversions safely.
• Active participation in technical code reviews, structured deployments, and writing comprehensive technical documentation alongside developers and QA teams.
• Familiarity with managing or migrating data structures across PostgreSQL databases.
